Doubting what God has to give?
When you read the scripture in Genesis 3, pause for a moment over the description of what led Eve to take a bite from the forbidden tree. She was convinced.
Convinced of what?
Convinced that she was missing out on something she believed God was withholding from her.
How have you been convinced that God is withholding something in your life?
That He isn’t delivering on time or giving you what you think you deserve?
Eve, along with Adam, never stopped believing in God’s existence. Instead, they allowed a distorted thought to creep in—one that created enough questioning, doubt, and wonder to lead them to cross the line.
Friend, this is a critical lesson for us. One of the key reasons we don’t manifest the abundant power of Christ in our lives is that we are connected to a watered-down version of God or following something that sounds good but isn’t truly what He has for us.
This insight has been so eye-opening for me this week, and I’m sharing it as someone walking through this discovery journey alongside you. My hope is that we deepen our faith, depend more fully on God, and bring glory to His name through it all.
