you realize how little yo isn't to put you down. Th you to realize how much p your life. And as a woman history, we have the abili to live out, do more to cr just our homes, beyond ju that women in generations
In the whole span of history, we exist in just this tiny little sliver. And this is your moment, To be more, to do more, and to embrace your potential, to glorify God with your life. So friend, what are you accomplishing? What are you manifesting? And what are you asking for? The Bible in Matthew 7,
tells us to keep on asking. There's this concept of knock, keep knocking until you get what you are seeking. Friend, do you know one, what you're seeking, what you're going after? And two, do you have the persistence to stay the course, to keep on asking, to move forward with the momentum, even when you can't see what's happening? But you know that if you keep going, you keep doing, your life can create more.
You can use your life to create more, to have more abundance that you can share and bless and provide and impact the world with the value that you're creating by what God is giving and doing in and through you. This is your moment in history, friends. I'm asking you to take the challenge to rise above. And in this conversation, we're going to talk about the power of asking for more. What is the power of asking for more?
because it's not about selfishness. I just want to take that immediately off the table. It's not about being greedy. It's not about selfishness. It's, I don't know. It's just not all the negative connotation things that we put to the idea of asking for more. Asking for more in the context that we're going to explain it is about embracing the fullness, okay? You living into you manifesting the fullness of what your life is capable of.
Stefanie (02:24.3)
And not just on your own, but in conjunction with God. God activating and working in and through your life. And 1 Corinthians sums it up by saying, whatever we do, do it all for the glory of God. So whatever is seriously anything, yes, it is living my life. It is the results that I'm achieving. It is what I am creating, who I am being. And so when I start to take the words and I apply them in my life and I make them mean something,
Because that's what we want to do. We want to read scripture and we want to apply it in our lives. We do not want to read scripture. Forget what we've just read. I can't think what the scripture is, but it says where like you're like the person who looks in the mirror and then as soon as you walk away, you've completely forgotten what you look like. That is somebody who is not applying the scripture and that is not what I want for my life. I hope that's not what you want for your life. And that's the conversation we're going to have today is the power of asking for more. It's like we have looked in the mirror. We have seen what is possible.
by God working in people's lives and you're like, okay, I'm ready to ask for more. I'm ready to be of service in a bigger, greater way so that I can go and accomplish things for God's glory. So where am I at? I'm in the place of saying, I am going to start creating the content, the messaging, the podcasts, the trainings, the workshops, all the things that is using my gifts that He's given me, my ability to have an active imagination, to write.
my ability to create, my idea generation, my ability to write, my ability to speak, all these different things that I have developed, not just through life experiences and through work, but also just because it's my passion. This is the way that I am designed. These are my skills that He has given me, and I want to use these. And I can use them how? I can use them to glorify God by what it is that I'm talking about, how I am serving, how I am showing up. And that excites me.
because we all are part of the body and the body works in different ways. So I might be a hand and you might be a foot, you might be an eyeball and I might be the heart. It's all these different pieces and we all got to come together to be able to glorify God. And so I'm challenging you, friend, to look at in your life, where can you start asking for more? So let's talk about this. What does it even mean to ask for more?
Stefanie (04:44.288)
It means that you are going to live out your life. You are going to be the person you are being in your life. You are going to do the actions that you take and you are going to allow in to receive the manifestations of all those things that you have done. Okay. The being is the way that you think, the way that you feel, the way that you have and hold on to beliefs. The doing comes from the actions you take.
And we have learned in other conversations, that is the way that we think that impacts how we are feeling. If we feel inspired, we will go take inspired action. If we feel depleted, if we feel drained, if we feel sorry for ourselves, whatever it is, it's some kind of negative vibe that's running through us, our energy is lowered. And with lower energy, we create far less results. And so our impact, it's not to always be positive and cheerful and all those things, but our impact comes from elevating our
energy to go and create the impact that we need. This morning I was feeling a little bit groggy. I drank a Celsius to boost up my energy. I had done a workout and I still just kind of had to sit with it for a little bit to kind of like shake it off. It's like really, really cold outside and I guess it's just having an impact on my body. had to wait for my energy to start to kick in so that I could record this message. I knew that I wasn't going to show up like,
like that's way I felt earlier. And I was not going to record a message from that place. I wanted you to know how I feel about this message. I don't fake this energy. This energy comes from writing these messages and looking through how I want to phrase it. And I have my notes. I literally have my iPad here in front of me as I'm working on. have the written version in front of me that I check on from time to time, but I also add in a lot of just how my heart is stirred in the message I want to share.
And so that's why I waited until my energy was in a better place to actually go and create a better result. I know a better result comes from having an elevated energy. And so I want you to think about where your energy is based on your perception of what it is that you are asking for. Going back to my example I shared where I realized I was just living in average existence, a mediocre existence, staying within my own little bubble and never getting out there to do anything else. That doesn't take a lot of energy.
Stefanie (07:03.362)
Because eventually you get in your ways and you get set in your routines and you know kind of what it takes from day to day to make it through. Even when your children are challenging you and changing, you kind of have a sense of how you can live life on your own. Friend, that is the other benefit of rising up to ask for more. Because asking for more in the way that I'm putting it is that then we don't just lean on our own abilities, on our own knowing, on our own routines.
We are rising up to ask God for more direction, more insight, more inspiration. And please, you pave, will you direct me? Will you show me the path that I should take to be of influence, to create value? What do you want me to do? And now we are in communion with God. We are communicating with God and we are connecting with God so that we can start to actually build up that relationship with Him instead of just doing it all on our own.
Friend, that is a big transformational difference. That alone is starting to shake my life. And I hope that that can be an impact that you can start to experience for yourself. Because living a life of impact does not involve the, what is it, 36 hours of television a week, of media a week that the average American consumes. A life of impact does not involve 36 hours a week. That is like literally a full-time job. And what we are looking to do.
is stop watching those old reruns of TV shows you've already watched all the way through two times. Ouch, did that sting? And it means stay getting out of your own comfort zone. It means asking for bigger and greater things that you don't even know how to pull off or what to do. Where you have to rely on God, that's your activation of your faith. It means so many of these different things where you are getting out of the zone of comfort that is only for your pleasure and your provisions.
and you're putting yourself in a place of like, am I gonna do? How am I gonna create? Where am I gonna be seen? Yes, it's allowing yourself to even be seen, but it's not you, it's God working through you. And this was a big mental shift for me, is I had to stop looking at how are people gonna receive me? What are people gonna think of me? It was always me, me, me, me, me. And that's a natural mindset for us. And I'm not judging that because I know what I had to go through. And I had to change it from being all about me and how am I being received.
Stefanie (09:23.672)
to what is the message that I'm gonna prepare? How am I gonna put this message out? Because this is God's message coming in my voice, yes, in my delivery, yes. So it's using me, but it's using me to tend his message for his people. Friend, that is my way of making an impact. You've gotta find yours. You've gotta ask how you can receive more so that you can give more. We reflect back what he has given us. Matthew 7, 7.
And once again, I'm out of the NLT version, but Matthew 7, 7 says this nicely. it says, keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be open to you. That's a great verse for us to meditate on because that's about us having the intention of knowing what it is that we're asking, what we are seeking, right? And our persistence and staying with it. This one verse,
essentially sums up what is manifestation. Like we've broken down manifestation in so many different ways. The concept, the principle of manifestation. But I want to show you that it's here in scripture that this is what God is calling you to do to activate your life. And the power of asking for more comes down to this core principle. And I'm like this, because I'm like knocking. I'm thinking, what am I knocking on that door? How am I staying persistent to keep seeking and keep doing and keep creating?
even when I can't see the results yet, but I'm going to stay the course. It's a lot like working out. You can keep going to the gym. You can keep doing the things and your body is sometimes slow to adapt and slow to change, but you don't just give up. You got to keep on the course. You got to keep going. If you want to have the results that you're seeking. Hey friends, thank you so much for letting me share this message with you today. I feel so inspired. There's so much more that I know that I didn't.
