Are you confident of achieving your manifestation?
Feb 12, 2024There was a moment during the Super Bowl when the camera panned to Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback of the Chiefs, sitting on the sidelines waiting for his turn to take the field.
In the thick of all the pressure of overtime, there he was, sporting a soft smile. No signs of stress or confusion, just quiet confidence—even though his team was trailing with only a few minutes left on the clock.
It's entirely my perception, but he didn't look tense. He looked pleasant. And that one glimpse of him struck me because it was the perfect visual representation of how we need to approach our manifestations.
If we're filled with worry about whether our goals will happen, or if we're stressed about the details, we're not helping our cause. We're actually pushing our dreams further away.
We need to take a cue from Mahomes's playbook.
Instead of getting tangled up in anxiety, we need to work on our confidence and trust that what we're working toward is on its way.
Because worrying over things, and stressing about how they will occur, puts us in a repellant state. If this is where you find yourself, acknowledge how your negative state is pushing away your manifestations—communicating to the universal intelligence that you are not ready.
Looking at Mahomes in the tense final moments of the biggest game of the year was a great example of being ready with full anticipation, confident that what you desire is coming to you.
Imagine how you will look when your moment comes.
And beyond that, how will you be feeling?
