Unqualified Faith to Manifest
Jun 01, 2024You’ve decided to take a vacation.
And to get there you have chosen to fly.
I ask you, “Are you qualified to determine that the airplane is ready and safe for travel? Are you qualified to question to the pilot and determine they are competent to fly you?” Not to mention the host of other moving pieces and roles required to get your plane ready for takeoff and landing.
No, you don’t have those skills or awareness.
Nor do you likely even give them a second thought.
Because you have faith in God to orchestrate your safe passageway without you having to knowing all the necessary arrangements, details, etc. to make it possible.
This is unqualified faith.
Having belief in God from whom anything is possible, vs. needing full belief in yourself, your skills and awareness.
Unqualified faith is trusting you can move forward and believe in the outcome without knowing how it is all going to work out – how all the intricate details of the process work.
Unqualified faith is allowing yourself to move forward though you may be uncertain of how things will work. Unqualified faith is taking action even when you’re not fully equipped in some or even all of the process.
And the most important part, is that you have acknowledged that your role in manifesting what you desire is just to make the decision on where you want to go. You set the destination, and God works out the details.
Faith is you showing up ready and willing to take off, believing if you do, everything will come together to take you to your desired destination.
In Matthew 17:20, Jesus says of faith:
“I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”
The comparison here is between one of the largest creations, a mountain, vs. that of one of the smallest, a mustard seed.
You vs. the airplane
You vs. safe passage, flying across an expansive ocean
See the comparison?
Jesus doesn’t say that in order to move the mountain you have to become as big and strong as the mountain and then some.
He says you only need to believe. Not that you have to be bigger, stronger, more educated, more skilled, more anything.
Only that you need to believe.
And with faith, you may begin now, even with the small seed of potential.
If you research a mustard seed, you will see that how it can grow into a large bush full of beautiful yellow blooms in the right conditions.
Your faith too can grow and expand if nourished.
And it all begins with your willingness to step out with unqualified faith.
